Being a leading car manufacturer, Honda is committed to environment protection and has been pursuing its own green targets since many years. The company has rolled out a series of green cars like Civic Hybrid, Insight and FCX Clarity. They are also making sincere efforts to reduce carbon footprints in almost all ways possible. Price Honda, the leading Delaware Honda car dealer in Dover, is pleased to state that Honda’s 2011 Environmental Annual Report gives a new direction to their green initiatives.
Five years ago, Honda decided that it would reduce its global CO2 emissions by 10 percent by the end of 2010 compared to year 2000 levels. The goal was achieved by all Honda products last year. Now the company has announced 2020 CO2 emissions reduction targets and has adopted a global environmental slogan – Blue Skies for Our Children which draws directly from their environmental heritage.
Honda aims to reduce CO2 emissions from its global products by 30 percent by the end of 2020 compared to year 2000 levels. It will also strengthen efforts to realize reductions in CO2 emissions through its entire corporate activities. They have resolved to develop advanced technologies in total energy management and to reduce CO2 emissions through mobility and people's everyday lives.
